LG Electronics
The booth that LG set up was a great place to start. It was right in the entrance to Central Hall, and was one of the largest booths at the show. It's hard to get a sense of size from any pictures of the area, because each company's booth was mostly broken up into sections with high walls. The LG booth was actually split into six sections.
The booth was divided logically into left- and right-hand sides, with three sections each. The left side held players, including the new hybrid BluRay/HD-DVD players and PC drive, and the right side covered LG's large spread of LCD TVs.
The hottest releases at LG's booth were definitely the PC Hybrid drive and the 100-inch LCD TV. At first, I wondered where someone would actually
put a 100" TV. Then, I realized - If I had the $50,000 to spend on a TV, I would also have money to build a room specially for it. It must be nice to be rich.
Samsung
Samsung's booth was another Central Hall giant. It's hard to see from these pictures, but the booth actually went another 15 metres or so past what seems like the back end. Look past the streamers behind the TVs to see where the booth
should end, then imagine another 15m x 15m section past that. Back there was the entire mobile phone division, while up front contained the impressive wall-o'-TVs (pictured) as well as other TVs and the monitors (inside the booth).
